At NeoDocs-IT. we are trying to do what we can to reduce the environmental damage caused by the
production and management of business documents.
The way we are achieving some good
results is to convert comapnies away from producing paper type business documents
to creating these documents in electronic format. For example, producing invoices
in pdf format and emailing them rather than printing and mailing them the traditional
way. At the same time, instead of printing a second copy for internal records, use
the same pdf as an archive record that can be searched and viewed easily using NeoDocs
AMS.
Below are some simple facts that you
may want to consider about printing.
A Household family of 4 in
Australia produce 16 tons of CO2 per Year.
An average business will use approx
40,000 sheets of A4 paper per year. This produces 7.7 tons of co2 per year, almost
half of an average family.
